This release captures the ensemble performing at the Katabatik 25 year anniversary event, as part of Recombinant Network Editions 2025 Festival (held at the Gray Area, SF). For this recording Nommo Ogo were Identity Theft, Atlea, ⁂, Ceremonial Abyss and Squidcannon. This live set encompasses an arc of the band’s material from 2002-present, featuring a stripped down and cosmic re-imagining of some older songs as well as a new track. The album opens with the atonal tension and swung beats of "When lights go low", quoting an Orphic icon as the illumination recedes. "Blank Slate" considers the force of influence in the emptiest spaces, receiving a seminal musical figure ascending the darkness. Field recordings at twilight in Marrakech, Morocco January 2020, are framed by the claustrophobic halfstep of "Call to Sunset", written March 2020. "To the Moon (dub)" praises lunar power, remixing the verse from 2018's "Hymns of Orpheus Vol. 1” (KTBTK 011) collaboration into a heavy dub roller.
